As per the decision taken during a review meeting chaired by the Puri District Collector, devotees will be allowed to enter the temple only through the Singhadwara, while exit has been arranged through three other gates. This system has been introduced to maintain order and avoid overcrowding during the heavy footfall expected on the occasion. Eleven-lane barricades have been set up to regulate the movement of devotees.

Anla Navami Rituals and Radha Pada Darshan

The sacred festival of Anla Navami, also known as Akshaya Navami, will be celebrated on Friday. As per tradition, the special ritual of Radha Pada Darshan will begin at 5 am and continue till late night. This annual observance allows devotees to have a rare glimpse of Goddess Radharani’s feet, which remain covered throughout the year.

Five magistrates will also be deployed at the temple to oversee crowd management.”

Speaking about emergency services, he added, “A dedicated medical team will be stationed at the venue to handle any health-related issues. Arrangements for drinking water have also been made.”
