Cuttack: The Orissa High court on Friday granted bail to the nine accused in the Emar mutt silver bricks theft case.

Mahant Rajgopal Ramanuj Das, the main accused in the case, and his son Nilotpal Sharma along with seven others were granted bail on production of bail bond of Rs 30,000 and two sureties.

However, the court has set conditions that they would cooperate with the investigations and not influence the witnesses.

The owner of Ganesh Jewelries in Puri and Babulal and Company of Cuttack were among the released.

Besides, other two persons who were arrested by the Dhenkanal police in connection with the case were also released on bail.
