Bhubaneswar: Amid dissident, Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) chief Niranjan Patnaik, Leader of Opposition Narasingha Mishra and State in-charge Jitendra Singh are set to attend a meeting convened by AICC president Rahul Gandhi today.

As per reports, the Odisha leaders are already in New Delhi and are expected to meet the party national chief and discuss on several issues pertaining to the party’s strength, weakness and prospects in the ensuing election.

A discussion over the recent rift that surfaced within the Odisha Congress following the announcement of a new team is also expected to be the main focus of the discussion.

Besides, discussion on strengthening party organisation, poll preparation, chalking out strategies for 2019 elections and ticket distribution are likely to be the centre stage of the meeting.
