Bhubaneswar: Odisha Jana Morcha(OJM) chief Pyari Mohan Mohapatra on Saturaday predicted that his party would win 25-plus seats and would play a vital role in government formation if elections are held early.

Mohapatra said, “If early elections are held then OJM would get 25plus seats. BJD would win 50 plus and Congress would grab 25 plus seats whereas BJP would gather around 10 seats.”

Neither the Congress nor the BJP would be able to participate in government formation and OJM would form the government with BJD minus Naveen Patnaik with OJM dictating terms, added Pyari.

However reacting to Pyari, the ruling BJD termed the prediction as nothing more than a dream.

BJD MLA and minister Kalpataru Das said, “When he was in BJD his predictions were based on facts and had values but now he is not in a situation to predict anything. He won’t be able to even open account in the upcoming general elections. He is just dreaming for the impossible."

Pyari Mohapatra, the ex-BJD stalwart had launched the Odisha Jan Morcha (OJM) in April this year.
