Jharsuguda: An 11-year-old boy was today killed in a dynamite explosion in village Rajpura under Brajarajnagar police limits. The victim has been identifies as Ajit Kandara, son of Butia Kandara.

The police said that the dynamite lying abandoned in the backyard of Butia Kandara`s house suddenly went off causing serious injuries to Ajit. Ajit was immediately carried to the Jharsuguda hospital. But the doctors pronounced that Ajit was brought dead. The police have started investigations to find out to know how the dynamite came to the backyard of Butia`s house.
