DGM death case: Two accused arrested
The police in its investigation suspects the involvement of 25 – 30 accused in this case. It has also constituted three squads to nab the accused.
Earlier on Thursday, the DGM died after his vehicle was set afire by some persons outside the factory at Titlagarh.
According to reports, the incident took place when some of the suspended workers stopped the DGM’s car and asked the driver and others to disembark and later some persons suddenly set fire the vehicle with R S Roy sitting inside the car. He later succumbed to his injuries at IGH in Rourkela.
Following the incident, the administration of Powmex Steel on Friday has decided to close down the plant.
