Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Sunday spoke to the BSF constable Mohammad Anees, whose house was burnt down during the communal violence in Delhi.
Expressing grief over the incident, Patnaik announced a relief of Rs 10 lakh for Anees from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.

The 9th battalion BSF jawan is currently posted in the Maoist affected Malkangiri district of Odisha. The BSF battalion is responsible for the overall security in the Swabhiman Area (erstwhile cut-off) including the Gurupriya bridge in the district.
It is pertinent to mention here that Anees' house was burnt down during the violent clashes in Delhi recently.
Earlier, OTV had telecast a report on the plight of the BSF constable’s family after the house was burnt by a mob.
