Bhubaneswar: East Coast Railway (ECoR) today cancelled at least six trains and suspended services between Khurda Road in Odisha and Vizianagaram in Andhra Pradesh after several stations and tracks suffered damages in Cyclone 'Titli'.

The ECoR has also partially cancelled, rescheduled and diverted several trains passing through the State till further orders.

Here’s the complete list of cancelled, partially cancelled, diverted, re-scheduled and diverted trains by ECoR.

CANCELLATION:
1. 22819/22820 Bhubaneswar-Visakhapatnam-Bhubaneswar Inter City Express from both the directions on 11.10.2018.
2. 22874 Visakhapatnam-Digha Express from Visakhapatnam on 11.10.2018.
3. 12864 Yesvantpur-Howrah Express from Yesvantpur on 10.10.2018.
4. 12509 Bangalore Cant.-Guwahati Express from Bangalore Cant on 10.10.2018.
5. 15227 Yesvantpur-Muzafarpur Express from Yesvantpur on 10.10.2018.
6. 18645 Howrah-Hyderabad East Coast Express from Howrah on 11.10.2018.

DIVERSION:
1. 12703 Howrah-Secunderabad Falaknuma Express from Howrah on 11.10.2018 will run via Kharagpur-Tata-Bilaspur-Nagpur-Kazipet

RESCHEDULING:
1. 22603 Kharagpur-Villupuram Express from Kharagpur on 11.10.2018 will leave at 1805hrs instead of 1405hrs.
2. 18646 Hyderabad-Howrah East Coast Express from Hyderabad on 11.10.2018 will leave at 1200hrs instead of 0950hrs.

Besides, damages were reported from many railway stations and in the railway routes between southern Odisha and Andhra Pradesh. Electricity supply has also been suspended in the routes due to the cyclonic storm.

REPORTS OF DAMAGES:
1. Damages to Station Buildings at various places with major damages at Palasa Station.
2. Platform Shelters and Foot Over Bridges (FOBs) covers damaged at various places.
3. Signalling Pole and Over Head Electric Masts have been damaged at some places between Palasa and Kottabomali Stations.
4. Electricity feed to Over Head Electric not holding at various place between Brahmapur and Kottabomali.
5. A number of incidents of trees fallen on track have been reported from various places.

ELECTRICITY SUPPLY TO TRAIN LINE:
Odisha Power Transmission Corporation Limited (OPTCL) has still not activated supply line to Railway Electric Sub-Stations at Jagannathpur and Baruva. The ECoR authorities have asked the OPTCL to restore electric supply to the sub stations on top most priority so that train services can be resumed at the earliest.

The ECoR further informed that railway teams including track specialists, bridge engineers, over head electricity engineers had gone to do a detailed study of impact of cyclone Titli between Brahmapur-Palasa and Palasa-Kottabomali today but could not enter the area due to strong winds and heavy rains under the impact of cyclone Titli.

A decision on running of trains will be announced around 2.00 PM after the team gives a feedback after doing a ground investigation, the ECoR statement added.
