Bhubaneswar: Odisha government today decided to keep all offices open during the Puja vacation to tackle the damage caused by Cylone Titli and subsequent flooding in different parts of the State.

As per the latest notification issued by the office of the Special Relief Commissioner (SRC), all government departments will remain open during the Durga puja vacation till October 24.

Besides, all kinds of leaves sanctioned earlier stand cancelled till further orders, informed sources.

The leaves of all the heads of departments and officers at the State Secretariat have been cancelled.

The decision has been communicated by the secretary of the General Administration department to all the heads of departments, official sources said.

On the other hand, the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) cancelled Durga puja holidays of employees and directed officials to remain alert in view of heavy rain and flooding after cyclone Titli.
