Bhubaneswar: While uncertainty still prevails over the counselling of Medical, BDS, Agriculture and Engineering streams, authorities of the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) said that eligible candidates can register their names for lateral entry of diploma students into degree courses.

The students can register their names in the OJEE site where locking facility for their choice colleges is also available. This year as many as 13, 162 students have qualified for this category. It may be noted that since the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) is yet to give information on the number of discipline-wise approved seats in engineering and medical colleges, uncertainty over counselling of these students still prevails.
