As per reports, the disinfection kiosk was built by a steel manufacturing company based out of Dhenkanal in Odisha. The walkthrough kiosk is equipped with six spray nozzles that sprinkle disinfectant on the body of a person passing through it.

An official of the manufacturing company said, "We have made it after getting an order from a social organisation in Bhubaneswar. When a person walks through this tunnel, the whole body gets disinfected. It is helpful for workers delivering essential services."

"The disinfectant liquid consists of 0.5% Sodium Hypochlorite. So it's safe for use and doesn't harm the fabrics," the official said.

As per latest reports, the kiosk is being installed on the premises of the Lok Seva Bhawan to be used by government officials.
