The security personnel allegedly beat up some reporters near Naveen Niwas on Monday while they were covering a demonstration staged by the Chhatra Congress. Following the issue, the fellow scribes covering the Assembly session boycotted work and staged dharna in front of the House demanding action against the erring cops. The House also plunged into pandemonium over the incident as Congress members created heavy noise giving little chance to run the Assembly.
