Congress ‘Jagaran Yatra’ in Sundargarh kick starts

Sundargarh: In an attempt to highlight the failure of BJD government in probing the chit fund scam, stopping farmer suicides and implementing National Food Security Act (NFSA) properly in the state, the Opposition Congress launched its ‘Jagaran Yatra’ from here today.

Besides, the Opposition party also cornered the ruling BJD over the alleged links of its ministers and leaders with the arrested criminal brothers Sushil and Sushant Dhalasamant.

The Yatra was flagged off from Karamdiha Square under Subdega block and will culminate at the newly constructed Congress Bhawan at Adarsha Nagar here.

The seven-kilometer long Jagaran Yatra was attended by OPCC president Prasad Harichandan, Leader of Opposition Narasingh Mishra, Odisha Congress co-in-charge Subhankar Sarkar, leaders and workers of the party.
