Bhubaneswar: Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) has formed six teams to analyse and find out the reasons behind Congress' poll debacle in the recently concluded 2019 election.

After the first meeting of Odisha Congress' fact-finding team held here on Saturday, party MLA Narasingha Mishra said that the post-mortem report of the party's poll debacle will be submitted by the teams by the end of June.

"A total of six sub-committees have been formed and each given charge of five districts. The team members will visit each constituency and meet party candidates, Congress workers at all levels, people and intellectuals to find out the reasons behind the defeat of the party. The committees will submit review reports by the end of this month," said Mishra.

Senior Congress leader George Tirkey said that after analysing the reports of the sub-committees, a final report will be submitted to the OPCC which will later be sent to AICC. "The review is necessary as there's a need to expel all those who were indulged in anti-party activities during the 2019 polls in Odisha," he added.
