Cong holds Jagaran Padyatra in Rourkela

Rourkela: Odisha Congress on Sunday organised its eight phase Jagaran Padyatra in the Steel city after holding similar type of rallies in seven districts of the State in last seven months.

At the Rourkela rally, senior leaders including OPCC chief Prasad Harichandan, State in-charge Subhankar Sarkar lambasted the BJD government at the State and the BJP-led government at the Centre.

Former PCC chief Jayadev Jena said the motive behind organising the rallies is to create awareness among the people of the State about communalism of the Modi government and corruption of the Naveen government.
