Addressing the media, Chandrashekhar Sahoo alleged that the three ministers- Raghunath Mohanty , Sanjeev Sahu and Prafulla Samal should resign as they can influence the probe. He also said that the CM should also resign on moral grounds.

The congress also demanded to extend the probe to the entire 30 district instead of eight districts.

Reacting sharply to Congress’s demand for CM`s resignation on moral grounds, BJD leader Surya Narayan Patro said that the Congress should introspect before accusing the State Government. He also said that CBI already enquiring the issue.

On March 14, Supreme Court had made it clear that the CBI has to probe into the alleged misappropriation of MGNREGA funds in Orissa.

The Centre had earlier told the Supreme Court that it was considering CBI probe into the issue but apparently had done little to address the Court`s concern in last three months.
