CMAS members demand withdrawal of cases against Nachika

Bhubaneswar/Koraput: Protesting against branding of Chasi Mulia Adivasi Sangh president Nachika Linga as Moaist by the state government, members of the sangh on Sunday staged demonstration in front of district collectorate in Koraput.

 “We demand that all cases framed against Nachika by the government must be withdrawn as soon as possible,” said Himirika Sinoi, a CMAS member.

Meanwhile, members of the sangh have submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister Naveen Pattnaik urging withdrawal of cases against their leader Nachika Linga and other members.

Nachika Linga who appears in the most wanted list of the police has been on the run since November 2009.
