Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday said he would look into the matter relating to alleged horse-trading during last year`s Rajya Sabha polls while Labour Minister Pushpendra Singhdeo dared to face any kind of probe.

"The whole matter will be looked into," Patnaik told reporters when asked about the state government`s response to the alleged horse-trading during the June, 2010 Rajya Sabha polls.

The matter came to the fore recently after a local television channel and some Oriya dailies released an audio tape claiming payment of money to a Congress MLA to ensure victory of the ruling BJD`s third candidate.

The MLA denied the charge, but BJP demanded a CBI probe and resignation of two ministers allegedly involved in the horse trading during the RS polls.

Three MLAs - Shivaji Majhi, Gregory Minz (both Congress) and Bhimsen Choudhury (BJP)- abstained from voting in the RS polls.
