Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi on Saturday expressed deep sorrow over the aircraft force-landing incident in Rourkela. In a post on social media platform ‘X’ (earlier known as Twitter), CM Majhi wished the injured a speedy recovery.
Stating that he is personally monitoring the situation, the Chief Minister stated he has directed officials to ensure that those injured in the incident are provided with the best possible medical treatment without delay.
“I am deeply saddened to learn about the plane crash that occurred in Rourkela. The news that all passengers are safe by the grace of Lord Jagannath is reassuring. I have directed that immediate best medical services be provided to those injured in this incident. I am personally monitoring the situation. I am praying at the feet of Lord Sri Jagannath for the swift recovery of all,” Majhi wrote on X.
Meanwhile, BJP National Vice-President Baijayant Panda also expressed grief over the tragic incident. The senior saffron leader said it was a matter of great relief that all passengers were safe. Panda added that he is praying to Lord Jagannath for the speedy recovery of the injured.

“Saddened to learn about an accident involving an India One Air passenger aircraft near Rourkela. It is a relief that all passengers are reported to be safe. Prayers to Mahaprabhu Jagannath for the speedy recovery of those injured. My thoughts are with everyone affected by the incident,” wrote BJP National Vice-President Baijayant Panda on X.
Notably, six people were injured in the small aircraft crash near Jalda A Block in the Raghunathpali area of Rourkela.
