Bhubaneswar: Two officials of Registrar of Companies (RoC) appeared before the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Thursday.

Sources said the investigating agency summoned the two RoC officials to appear before it to find out some details about chit fund companies from them.

Meanwhile, the District and Sessions Judge Court, Khurda, deferred hearing on bail plea of Banki MLA Prabhat Tripathy till Dec 2 as CBI sought more time to submit papers.

Similarly, the Orissa High Court posted Dec 2 as next date for hearing of bail application of the arrested Odia TV channel owner Manoj Das, who is at present in jail for alleged complicity in AT Group scam.

On other hand, bail pleas of AT Group chief Pradeep Sethi and Mumbai-based share trader Deepak Pareek will be heard today.

The District and Sessions Judge Court, Khurda, will also hear today bail application of Seashore CMD Prashant Dash.
