Charred body of teenage girl found in Rourkela

Rourkela: Charred body of a sixteen year old girl was found inside a rented house at Panda Colony in Rourkela today.

As per sources, Police had to break the door of the house as it was closed from inside to recover the body.

As per preliminary investigations, the girl who was staying with her maternal uncle and aunt was from Bhadrak and was reportedly working for a catering service provider in Rourkela.

The deceased had reportedly appeared for the Matric supplementary examination this year and did not clear the exam.

It is suspected that the girl might have committed suicide due to depression after failing to clear the examination.
