Charred bodies of woman, infant daughter found in Balasore

Balasore: Markona village under Simulia police limits of Balasore district is in a state of shock after charred bodies of a woman and her nine-month-old daughter were found under mysterious circumstances Tuesday.

Both the dead bodies were reportedly found inside a house. The woman has been identified as Sanjulata, wife of one Narayan Roul.

It is being alleged that the woman and her daughter were set on fire over some family dispute.

On being informed, Police rushed to the spot and have detained Narayan.

However, no comments could be obtained from the police regarding the investigation into the incident.
