Centre sanctions Rs 1498cr under PMGSY

Bhubaneswar: The Ministry of Rural Development on Saturday has sanctioned Rs 1,498 crore to the state under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) for the construction of 823 roads with a total length of 3,143 km.

In a letter to Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik Minister Jairam Ramesh said the funds would benefit seven Integrated Action Plan (IAP) and 11 non-IAP districts.
