Case registered against BJD leader Manmath Routray over ‘objectionable remarks’ against Odisha CM Photograph: (File)
BJD leader Manmath Routray has come under scrutiny after a case was registered against him at the Bhubaneswar Cyber Police Station. The FIR was filed based on a complaint by the BJP Legal Cell, which alleged that Routray made objectionable remarks against Chief Minister Mohan Majhi. Authorities have reportedly invoked five sections in the case.
According to reports, the complaint was lodged after the BJP Legal Cell reviewed Routray’s statements and deemed them inappropriate.
Manmanth Routray's Response
When contacted over the phone, Manmath Routray stated that he was in Mumbai and would respond to the media once he returned to Bhubaneswar. However, he did not provide any further details regarding the matter.
