Carcass of elephant found

Sambalpur: A decomposed carcass of a female elephant was recovered from the Naktideula forest division in Sambalpur district, officials said on Sunday. Locals first spotted the carcass and informed the forest department on Saturday, District Forest Officer (DFO) Suresh Das said. “The female elephant died ostensibly due to old age”, he said.
