Cancer is treatable if diagnosed at early stage: Manisha Koirala

Berhampur: Bollywood actress Manisha Koirala today flagged off a cycle rally, as part of a cancer awareness program organised by Grameen Sneh Foundation, here on Sunday.

The cycle rally is scheduled to end on December 25 in Pune after passing through 1480 kms across the country.

The actress said that cancer is treatable and curable if it is diagnosed at early stages. “If you notice any abnormalities in your body, please get a check-up done as early as possible. I thank the people of Odisha for their love and support,” said Manisha.

Earlier in the morning today, retired Army personnel Gajanan started the journey along with other participants. Chief of the cancer department of AIIMS New Delhi, G.K Rath was also present on the occasion.
