The Ministry of Railways on Friday approved the regular service of train No. 19022/19021 Brahmapur-Surat (Udhna)-Brahmapur Amrit Bharat Weekly Express train service to improve long-distance rail connectivity across Western, Central, and Eastern India.

This new train service will boost the economic and industrial mobility by connecting mineral, textile and trade hubs, supporting business and workforce movement.
Train Details:
• Train No. 19022 Brahmapur-Surat (Udhna) Amrit Bharat Weekly Express will depart from Brahmapur on October 6 on every Monday at 23:45 hrs and reach Udhna at 08:45 hrs the next day.
In the return journey, train No. 19021 Surat (Udhna)-Brahmapur-Amrit Bharat Weekly Express will depart Udhna from October 5 on every Sunday at 07:10 hrs and reach Brahmapur at 13:55 hrs the next day.
The train will halt at major stations including Palasa, Vizianagaram, Rayagada, Titilagarh, Raipur, Nagpur, Bhusaval and Nandurbar.
Other Stoppages (Both directions):
Srikakulam, Bobbili, Parvatipuram, Sungarpur road, Muniguda, Kesinga, Kantabanji, Khariar Road, Mahasamund, Lakholi, Durg, Gondia, Wardha, Badnera, Akola, Malkapur, Jalgaon, Dharangaon, Amalner, Sindkheda, Dondaicha, Navapur, Vyara and Bardoli.
The Amrit Bharat train services will enhance the travel experience of passengers through modern LHB coaches.
Coach Compositions:
The train will consist of 22 modern coaches, including General Second Class sitting-11 coaches, Sleeper Class-08 coaches, Second Class-cum-luggage/Divyangjan-02 coaches, and Pantry Car-01 coach.
This service will benefit thousands of passengers by providing a safe, comfortable, and faster travel option, strengthening rail connectivity between Western and Eastern India.
Notably, the Amrit Bharat Express is a significant step towards strengthening long-distance rail connectivity.
