(image) Bhubaneswar: The Odisha High Court on Monday ended the dispute over the occupancy of Ravenshaw University East Hostel by directing University to allow the boys to continue living in the East Hostel.
The Court ordered the administration of the University to relocate the management courses conducted in the west hostel and to provide accommodation for the girls. It has also directed the administration to construct new hostels if necessary.

Earlier, a row sparked off and a PIL was filed when the University authorities decided to convert the East Hostel into a girls’ hostel. Later the HC constituted a seven-member committee, headed by retired Justice A.K. Parichha submitted its report on January 20 to resolve the dispute.
