An earthquake of magnitude 3.5 in Richter scale hit four districts of Odisha on Friday. The tremors were felt in Ganjam, Nayagarh, Phulbani and Boudh at 11.19 am today, informed the IMD regional centre Bhubaneswar.
Pradhan and the family members of Bagarty lodged an FIR with Puranakatak Police in connection with the incident. Based on the complaint, police have started investigating the matter.
Daytime temperature also remained above 36 degrees in 10 cities of the State in the last 24 hours. Titlagarh remained the hottest city with 38 degree Celsius on Sunday.
The incident occurred when the roof of the bridge was being laid out.
