Boudh located in western part of Odisha is famous for its century-old aesthetically built temples, ancient Buddha statues and caves. It has spread Saivism, Vaishnavism along with a number of other shrines. The natural beauty and glamour of these places keep the visitors spellbound.
As the day broke, police and health department personnel visited all the egg shops in the town and asked them to shut down their shops. They even took inventory of eggs of shopkeepers to verify later if they had supplied to anybody secretly.
The BJP activists also raised ‘Pandian Go Back’ slogans and tried to storm into the 5T Secretary’s meeting venue. However, the activists were stopped by the police which led to a brief scuffle.
As per reports, the bus was on its way to Raipur from Berhampur when the mishap occurred. All the passengers of the bus were reportedly unhurt.
The deceased have been identified as Jagannath Meher and Prashant. An Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) and another home guard were critically injured in the mishap.
As per initial reports, the speeding car entered the house after its driver lost control of the steering wheel and skidded off the road on NH-57. The SUV was coming from Charichhak area.
Recently, in a rare sight during a wedding in Odisha, a groom took out a procession and reached the marriage venue on JCB making his wedding a distinctive one from others.

The accused who tried to escape from the victim’s home was caught by the villagers and was thrashed mercilessly.

The Excise sleuths seized the vehicle and started an investigation into the incident.

Police sources revealed that marijuana smugglers used to give kickbacks to these cops to run their businesses smoothly.

As reported, a team of forest officials went into Lakadpaju forest to seize and destroy ganja cultivation which was being done inside the deep forest. During the operation, suddenly a landmine blasted which was supposedly set up by ganja mafias to keep the investigating team off-limit.
