Odisha on Saturday witnessed a concerning figure in the single-day covid cases with 11, 805 more people testing positive for the contagious disease in last 24 hours taking the cumulative virus infection count to 6,00,492.
After witnessing a steady decline in number of daily covid-19 cases, Odisha once again registered an upswing in the infection figures with 10982 people testing positive for the virus in last 24 hours, causing significant worry for the State which is currently under lockdown to check rising cases.
In a bid to address the oxygen crisis at hospitals especially during the time of Covid pandemic, the Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO) has geared up to set up seven medical oxygen plants in Odisha.
