Bombs hurled at vehicle of MP Prashanta Nanda’s son

Khurda: Unidentified miscreants allegedly hurled bombs at the vehicle of MP Prashanta Nanda’s son Rishab Nanda Monday night. However, no injuries or casualty were reported after the bombing.

As per sources, the incident occurred while he was on his way to Bhubaneswar along with his driver and personal assistant after attending a programme in Anantapalli village under Begunia block of Khurda district.

Suddenly, a few unidentified miscreants intercepted Rishab’s vehicle near the Begunia block office and allegedly hurled bombs damaging the vehicle.

Lodging a complaint with Khurda SP, Rishab said that the attack was orchestrated by his rival groups who have grown intolerant over his rising popularity. Rishab also informed that he heard the miscreants shouting "Prasant Jagadev Jindabaad' during the attack.

Meanwhile, Khurda SP has assured to nab the culprits as investigation has already been initiated into the incident.
