Mumbai: She narrowly missed the coveted Pantaloons Femina Miss India 2011 title, yet she is on cloud nine. Ankita Mohapatra who was adjudged as Femina Miss Bollywood Diva at the beauty pageant contest has already found her way to Bollywood.
The starry Thursday night at Mehboob Studios, Mumbai witnessed the three damsels’- PFMI World 2011 Kanishtha Dhankhar, PFMI International 2011 Ankita Shorey (first runner-up) and PFMI Earth 2011 Hasleen Kaur (second runner-up) - roads to fame and riches, yet Ankita was the one to steal all the limelight as she was offered a movie by film producer Sajid Nadiadwala, one of the adjudicators that night.
Ankita, the fourth favourite at the grand finale would make her debut in the B-town under Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment Private Limited.
The Odiya girl has always exuded immense confidence when it came to Bollywood and now she is all set to take the tinsel town by storm and carve a niche in the world of entertainment.
Ankita, a passionate Odissi dancer, has earlier brought laurels to the state by winning Gladrags Mega Model Contest way back in 2009. She was also crowned as the Miss Friendship International 2009 at an international pageant contest in Beijing the same year.
And as she readies herself for the big game, the state wishes her good luck and a bright future ahead.
