Youth Cong president refutes resignation claim

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Youth Congress President Rajat Choudhary has refuted the claim made by senior Congress leader Lulu Mohapatra yesterday that he had resigned from his post.

“I have not resigned and I don’t know what Lulu Mohapatra is saying. I am under a considerable amount of stress,” said Choudhary.

Mohapatra, it may be noted, had claimed the youth wing chief had resigned, saying “I have received the resignation from Rajat, who said that he was not involved in the chit fund scam but is resigning on moral grounds as allegations have surfaced against him.”

Lulu even took out a paper from his pocket indicating he is in possession of the resignation letter while talking to OTV.

Meanwhile, Rajat appeared before the CBI for the fifth time on Tuesday. Sources said that Rajat was questioned by the CBI earlier in the day and was asked to appear once again with the required documents.

On Monday too, Rajat and his wife had appeared before the CBI.
