Vigilance raids range officer’s house, office
Rourkela: Vigilance sleuths on Tuesday conducted simultaneous raids at three places, including the house of Biramitrapur forest range officer Chandra Sekhar Gadnayak, on charges of accumulation of properties disproportionate to his known sources of income.
According to sources, the anti-corruption wing of the Odisha Police is conducting raids at the ancestral house of Gadnayak located in Pallahara and Rourkela. Besides, raids are also on at Gadnayak’s office in Biramitrapur.
The investigating agency has laid its hands on some incriminating documents and bank passbooks in the name of Gadnayak during the raid, sources in the agency said.
The raid was still on when reports last came in.
