Accordingly, I and other guardians had paid the amount. But only one student has managed to clear the examination,” an angry guardian said on condition of anonymity.
The students also alleged that the secretary of the college is running the commercial institution despite being a government employee. He had lured the students from the locality with the false promise of cent per cent success rate, alleged the students and parents .
On the other hand, the principal of the college Umesh Chandra Nayak denied any hand in the dirty deal. “I know that the students have given money. But I am not involved in the deal,” he claimed.
Expressing surprise over the dismal results of the college, Subham Samal, a student sai; “Barring one student, the remaining students have failed in the examination. How come some students whose standards are very good could not clear the examination? I am sure there have been some serious mistakes in the tabulation of marks by the CBSE Board. We have requested the Board to re-check the answer scripts of the students,” he added.
