Probe into Hirakhand Express mishap to begin from tomorrow

Bhubaneswar: The Civil Aviation Ministry today said that it would begin probe into the tragic Hirakhand Express mishap from tomorrow.

The Ministry, in a release to the media later in the day today said a joint probe would be taken up by the South-Central Commissioner of Hyderabad Circle and the Commissioner, Railway Safety, Ram Kripal from the Railway Officers’ Guest House at Rayagada from tomorrow. On January 24, the duo will inspect the office of the Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) at Vishakhapatnam.

The release also said that anyone can depose before the Ministry as witness to the tragic mishap. The investigation would cover every aspect to ascertain the exact cause of the tragic incident.
