PM Modi to visit Odisha on May 26; to highlight Centre’s achievements

Bhubaneswar: On the fourth anniversary celebrations of the BJP-led government at the Centre, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to visit Odisha on a one-day tour, informed BJP Odisha in-charge Arun Singh here on Saturday.

Speaking to the media, Singh said, “Modi sarkar (government) will complete four years on May 26 and PM Narendra Modi has decided to visit Odisha on the occasion. He will talk to people and give them details of the BJP government’s achievement in the last four years.”

A mega public meeting has been planned for his visit and it will have a huge impact on the State, he said.

On BJP national president Amit Shah’s claim of winning 120 seats (Mission 120) in Odisha, Singh said, “BJP will definitely win 120 seats in Odisha and there is no doubt about it.”

On Mahanadi, Singh said, “Mahanadi issue is a blatant excuse of the BJD government.”

PM Modi often visits the State as he always ranks Odisha above other states, he added.

This will be the first trip of PM Modi to the state after the saffron party’s massive defeat in the Bijepur bypoll.

The PM’s visit is aimed at boosting the sagging morale of party workers who are yet to come out of the bypoll debacle, believe political experts.
