Odisha students excel in CBSE Class-X exams
Bhubaneswar: As many as 18,048 students from the State cleared the Class-X examinations conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). A total of 18,299 candidates had appeared for the examinations, the results of which were declared today.
The Bhubaneswar region, consisting of States like Odisha, West Bengal and Chhattisgarh, registered a pass percentage of 97.14 while Odisha recorded a pass percentage of 98.63, followed by West Bengal at 97.68 per cent.
As many as 58,593 students appeared in the examinations in the entire Bhubaneswar region and 56,920 of them passed out successfully.
More than 13 lakh students had appeared for the CBSE Class-X examinations across the country.
