Odisha effects admin reshuffle; nine Collectors changed

Bhubaneswar: In a major administrative reshuffle, Odisha government on Friday changed Collectors of nine districts along with changes in other administrative departments.

While Vineet Bharadwaj was appointed Collector of Sundergarh, BS Poonia became the Collector of Dhenkanal, an official communication said.

Similarly, SK Meena, Roopa Roshan Sahoo and Khagendra Kumar Padhi have been appointed as Collectors of Mayurbhanj, Khurda and Bargarh, respectively. Rajesh Paravakar Patil, the outgoing Collector of Mayurbhanj has been appointed as OSD, Odisha Skill Development Authority.

According to the communiqué, Anjan Kumar Manik was given the new charge as the Collector of Kalahandi, while Brundha D has been appointed as the Collector be Kandhamal. Reghu G and Poma Tudu are the new Collectors of Kendrapara and Nuapara, respectively.

Nikhil Pawan Kalyan, Project Director, DRDA, Keonjhar has been given new charge as the Commissioner of Berhampur Municipal Corporation.

While Shuvam Saxena will be the new vice-chairman of Cuttack Development Authority (CDA), Khurda Collector Niranjan Sahu has been appointed as Director (Industries), with additional charge of MD, Odisha Small Industries Corporation (OSIC).

The statement said, Manish Agarwal, PD, DRDA, Khurda has been given new charge as Deputy Secretary, Home Department.
