Mobile app to provide info on police services
Bhubaneswar: In an effort to make police-public interaction easy, the Commissionerate of Police is going to roll out a new mobile application in twin cities on the occasion of police foundation day on January 15. The people can access to police service directly using the new application.
Police Commissioner Rajendra Prasad Sharma said that users can get all the information like phone and mobile numbers of officials and police stations along with various services provided by the Commissionerate of Police by using the application.
The app can be downloaded and installed in smart phones. People can directly interact with police by touching the icons in the application. It will help the common men to approach the police, Sharma added.
Besides, a traffic education park will be set up near traffic police station and a traffic education hall in Cuttack, he added. People violating traffic rules will be imparted training at these parks. Blood donation camps will be organized separately in both the cities to mark the eighth foundation day, informed Sharma.
