“We have requested the embassy in New Delhi to provide travelling and tour details of the lady. We will plan for further investigation after getting those details,” Bhubaneswar DCP Satyabrat Bhoi said.

The investigating officials have however got to know that the lady, in her early 30s before landing in Kolkata had visited Goa and Bangalore in February.

Police said tour details of the lady will help them to know if she was involved in any such immoral activities other than Bhubaneswar.

Meanwhile, special teams have been formed to nab the sex racket kingpin Sunil Meher who managed to give police a slip again during the raid on Wednesday. Along with the Kyrgyzstani national, Meher’s aide Somesh Panda was also arrested from a flat in posh Chandrasekharpur area.

Police said owner of the flat will be summoned in connection with the case.

“We want to know from the owner whether he had done identity verification of the tenant before renting out his flat,” Bhoi said.

Investigating officials further said, Panda had been engaging foreign girls in flesh trade in the capital city after signing ‘special’ deals with them. Police also got to know that Panda was targeting club members, event managers and business tycoons to get handsome amount.
