Fake ads offering jobs at IB, FCI: Public notice issued; get the details!
Bhubaneswar/New Delhi: Taking cognizance of the fake ads offering jobs, the Intelligence Bureau (IB) has issued a public notice to aware the candidates and help them not falling prey to such job scams.
“Candidates beware! Don’t fall prey to fake advertisements offering jobs in the IB,” the agency has warned.
IB said it has come to know that some unscrupulous elements are fraudulently inviting applications for its various posts. They are also luring the students appearing in various written examination conducted by the IB for providing assistance during the examination.
The agency has also found that some elements are even issuing fake appointment letters to some of the candidates.
“The prospective candidates or job aspirants are, therefore, cautioned not to fall prey to the designs of such unscrupulous elements who are trying to dupe the unsuspecting aspirants or candidates for their personal gain,” the IB said in a public notice.
The candidates are also advised to go through the detailed advertisement before applying and ensure that they meet the required eligibility criteria, the IB said.
Similarly, the Food Corporation of India (FCI) Regional Office in Hyderabad has found that some unscrupulous elements are issuing fake and illegal appointment letters on its behalf.
Stating that one person was handed over to police for issuing fake and illegal appointment letters to candidates, the FCI, Regional Office, advised people not to fall in the trap of such elements.
It further said in a release, “If any such case is noticed, please intimate the local police station and nearby Food Corporation of India office for taking necessary action.”
