Baijayant for more training, jobs for differently-abled
New Delhi: BJD MP from Kendrapara, Baijayant Panda on Monday stressed the need for providing training and creation of employment opportunities for the differently-abled.
During the question hour in the Lok Sabha today, Panda highlighted that around 17,000 differently-abled persons are being provided training in the country. However, more and more such people should be provided training, he said.
Replying to Panda, Social Justice and Empowerment minister Thawar Chand Gehlot said that the Centre is taking steps in this regard.
