Minor boy found dead, suicide over poor results suspected

Kendrapara: Ratikrushna Khuntia, a minor boy, was found dead in his house at Santasahi area in Kendrapara on Saturday. It is suspected that Ratikrushna committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling last night.

Though the exact reason behind the death is still unclear, it is suspected that Ratikrushna resorted to such extreme as he failed to clear the matriculation examination, the results of which were announced last month.

Sources said, Ratikrushna Khuntia was depressed over his poor performance in the examination.

According to reports, Ratikrushna committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling of the house when his father was fast asleep last night.

On getting information, Kendrapara Town Police rushed to the spot and sent the body for post-mortem today. Meanwhile, further investigation in connection with the incident is on.
