BJP’s national tribal convention kicks off in Puri

Puri: The BJP Janajati Morcha’s two-day Rashtriya Mahaadhibeshan (BJP ST National Convention) will begin from Puri today. National president of BJP ST Morcha, Ramvichar Netam inaugurated the tribal convention which is also being attended by nearly 5,000 representatives of tribal communities along with tribal leaders, MLAs and MPs from across the country.

According to sources, BJP national president Amit Shah is also scheduled to address the ‘Adivasi Adhikar’ convention on February 3.

A massive rally will be organised on the second day of the convention tomorrow. Senior BJP leaders informed that over one lakh tribal people will join the rally to fight for tribals’ rights and protest the ‘anti-tribal’ policy of the State Government.
