Bhubaneswar: Barely four days before the BJP national president Amit Shah's visit, the State Unit of the safron party conducted a ritualistic worship (Bhumi pujan) at the rally venue at unit -VI here today.

Thw worship was conducted in presence of state president KV Singh Deo, senior leader Bijay Mohapatra, Sameer Dey and other top leaders and workers.

"The ground work preparation for the he big fight (Maha Sangram) against BJD government has commenced today. The day to oust Naveen Patnaik led-government will be announced on the Mahasangram day here", KV Singh Deo said.

In his maiden trip to Odisha after being named as party's national president, Shah is scheduled to reach Bhubaneswar airport at 9.25 am on January 6 and will drive straight to the rally venue at unit VI. The rally will continue till 2 pm followed by a meeting with party leaders and workers. Later, he will visit Puri Jagannath temple and spend night there.

He is scheduled to meet the party men at the regional BJP headquarters in the following day and convene a press meet in the afternoon before flying back to New Delhi.
