Bhubaneswar: BJP’s rally against corruption will begin in the State on Monday with the maiden visit of BJP President Nitin Gadkari.

The rally will be part of NDA’s rally against corruption and price rise, which began in New Delhi on 22nd December, 2010. The list of venues for NDA’s Bhrashtachar Virodhi Mahasangram were planned for 12 cities including Mumbai, Ludhiana, Lucknow, Rohtak, Jaipur, Patna, Bhubaneshwar, Bhopal, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad and Chennai.

In the rally, BJP will bring forth issues of corruption in 2G spectrum allocation controversy, CWG Scam and Adarsh Housing Scam.

It will also sharpen attack against the State government on Vedanta and POSCO, failure of the state government to control Maoist, farmer suicides and the government’s indifference to the problems of the tribal population in the State.

Party workers from every village and booth in the State have arrived in the capital to participate in the rally.

The rally will begin at Swadhinata Sangrami ground and end at Lower PMG Square in Bhubaneswar, where Gadkari will address the massive rally. State President Jual Oram, National general secretary Dharmendra Pradhan and former central minister and central observer for Orissa BJP, Santosh Gongwar and other top leaders will also address the rally.
