This was decided at a meeting here in presence of party`s General Secretary Ramlal and Santosh Gangwar, the BJP`s national leader in-charge of Odisha.

"Since June 21 is the auspicious Rath Yatra day, the state unit decided to organise the proposed jail bharo agitation to June 19," said the state BJP president Jual Oram. Stating that an estimated 50,000 BJP activists and leaders would participate in the jail bharo agitation to be held in district and sub-division level, Oram said the preparatory meeting for the programme would be held soon.

The party leaders, they said, also discussed the possible poaching of BJP MLAs by the ruling BJD after it allegedly hijacked four MLAs from the NCP.
