Cuttack: In yet another embarrassment for the ruling-BJD, sitting MLA and candidate from Niali Assembly constituency, Pramod Mallick, had to face the wrath of the locals at Bhaliakana village under Jagatsinghpur Lok Sabha segment yesterday.
A video purportedly showing Mallick being questioned by locals during his visit to the village has gone viral on various social media platforms.
As per reports, Mallick had gone to meet the people of the Assembly segment when some local residents stopped him and enquired about his visit to the area.
In the video, some locals can be seen questioning Mallick alleging his absence for the last 10 years during his tenure as MLA of Niali constituency. The locals also grilled the MLA about his contributions towards the development of the village.
No comments could be obtained from Mallick in connection with the incident. Niali Assembly constituency will go to polls on April 29.
